Welcome!

My name is Mariana Krueger (she/her), and I'm a teacher, activist, nonprofit leader, researcher, digital storyteller, and photographer, currently residing in Austin, Texas, available for travel internationally.

A Central Texas native, I spent many of my childhood years in Burundi, Botswana, and England. After graduating from New Braunfels High School, I attended Duke University for my undergraduate and graduate degrees where I earned my B.A. in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy and my M.S. in Global Health. With an insatiable curiosity for the world, I've been drawn to work in political campaign management, non-profit leadership, global health research, multi-disciplinary teaching, clinical services, data consulting, and creative storytelling. My interests have taken me to Kenya, Haiti, Uganda, Boston, and now back to my home state of Texas. I serve on two non-profit boards in the global health and environmental justice sectors, and volunteer regularly at my local food forest. I feel most connected to myself when I'm learning, in a museum or in wilderness, while traveling, or even in conversation with people I meet. I believe that our values and behaviors define us far more than our titles or wealth.

While this website is geared towards my creative pursuits-- photography, storytelling, and digital content creation-- I'm always interested in hearing about your organization, cause, or company, and how I might be of service.

Thanks for stopping by my website! Please feel free to contact me here, and to follow me on instagram and LinkedIn.
