Frequently Asked Questions

How does the sliding scale work?

I offer most of my services on a sliding scale in an effort to make my services accessible to all while covering my needs. If my price range is listed for the service you're seeking, I won't haggle or negotiate. You pay what you can, no proof of income or anything else required. I trust you to give what feels comfortable to you. Anything given above the top amount of the sliding scale goes towards my Trans Youth Portrait Fund, which allows me to offer free, gender-affirming portraits to trans youth.

How do I pay?

I expect 50% of the total amount paid upon booking, and 50% paid upon receipt of services. You can pay using cash, PayPal, or Venmo, and in some circumstances, cryptocurrency or trade.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask that you let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel a shoot or service. Cancellations must be made at least five days in advance of the scheduled shoot or service delivery, or your 50% down payment will be forfeited.

I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. Help?!

I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, too! Most people do. And that's okay. I'm an outgoing and friendly person with a lot of experience. I'll tell you how to move and where to look, and hopefully help you feel comfortable enough to be your authentic self. I can also advise you on which of your outfits will photograph best, if you'd like.

I don't see the service I want listed. Does that mean I'm out of luck?

No! I'm open to all kinds of creative consulting work, from travel writing to social media management. Send me an email to let me know what you're looking for and I'll let you know how I can help.

Can you make accommodations for my accessibility needs?

Yes! Before we meet, we'll have a conversation about accessibility and accommodations so I can be best prepared to make our shoot as comfortable and enjoyable for you as possible.
